Taro Generic Medicines
Generic medications contain the same active ingredient as the brand medication and contain the same amount of active ingredient as the brand.
Just like the brand, a Taro generic medication is reviewed and authorized by Health Canada before it is available to be prescribed.
Generic medications are tested to ensure they are bioequivalent to the brand. This means there is no meaningful difference between the brand and the generic in how it works in the body. A bioequivalent generic drug is as safe and effective as the brand-name version.
